Mexico lifts suspension on imports of U.S. meat

Products from the Swift plant can be exported to Mexico as long as they don't have certificate dates of Dec. 23-25, according the Agriculture Department.

Mexico had raised concerns about the general condition of meat products and sanitation issues. Mexico had also objected to a recently enacted law that requires U.S. meat imports to bear country-of-origin labels.
