Aircraft components company Triumph Group said Thursday that it will establish a new manufacturing site in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Wayne, Pa.-based Triumph (NYSE:TGI) said it will invest up to $20 million into the site over the next two years, and employment could reach 400 workers.

CEO Richard C. Ill said the Mexico plant “will allow us to better manage our production costs in a competitive global market and to effectively increase capacity at our existing domestic plants.”

Plant activities will include “a significant number of [Triumph’s] operating companies and a wide range of capabilities and technologies,” the company said.
