Four airport workers were injured Friday when lightning hit an Aeromexico jet at Mexico City International, the Latin American Herald Tribune reports. The Associated Press writes "officials say the workers were apparently injured by the concussion from the afternoon strike, rather than by the electrical charge of the bolt itself. No passengers were on the plane." The injures did not appear to be serious, according to AP, which says the workers were conscious when they were transported to hospital and were said to be in stable condition. As for the lightning strike, and airport official tells the Herald Tribune it "struck the tail of an Aeromexico jetliner, which had arrived from Madrid and was due to depart for Chile."
